Dave Lewis from Sea Angler magazine has been following the Facebook groups progress since the start and has been eager to feature us in the magazine for a while now.
So, what better time to meet up than with the arrival of the new Hydrus.
I took the drive to Lymington harbour and met Dave on the slipway with the Hydrus in the back of the van ready to set up and have a few pics taken. It was the first time I'd actually taken the boat out with my Yamaha 15hp engine so it literally felt like my first time on a boat again. Luckily everything went smoothly and it was as if I'd launched the boat a hundred time before.
The plan was to do a spot of fishing but Dave had last minute family commitments so for now only photos taken in the speed restricted harbour entrance were possible.
The magazine feature covered everything. A double page capture of the Hydrus in action as well as a page detailing all the features of the boat as well as promoting the website and the Facebook group.

and hopefully some pics of a nice fish being landed for another edition of the magazine.
